Discover the nuances between wireless and wired headphones, two distinct yet equally valid worlds. Each type of headphone has its advantages and disadvantages, raising questions about sound quality and practicality. What are the best options to meet your audio needs?

We explain the advantages and disadvantages of each type of headphones so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and priorities.

If you follow me regularly, you know that I walk a fine line between vintage and modern : on one hand, I fiercely defend physical formats, I enjoy listening to music on analog equipment, and my technical knowledge helps me to form informed opinions on audio topics such as balanced and unbalanced cables.

Regarding the modern world, while I appreciate devices like the FiiO R7 streamer, I’m one of those enthusiasts who, in their daily lives, seek what’s called bit-perfect reproduction . In other words, the quest for maximum fidelity in a digital file. I’ve actually been exploring this topic in more depth recently.

All these reflections lead me to this article, the first in a short series I’ll be writing on digital audiophilia. Here, we’ll tackle a topic that might seem trivial, but isn’t quite so: when it comes to listening to music on your phone, what’s better, wireless or wired headphones? To reach a conclusion, we’ll examine the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Why choose wired headphones for listening to digital music?

When people think of wired headphones, they might seem like an anachronism to the general public. And that’s not surprising. After all, we live in the age of wireless, ultra-mobility, and ultra-portability. Why bother using headphones plugged into a device?

However, when it comes to bit-perfect reproduction, wired headphones are the easiest way to achieve it . Most of these devices, regardless of the quality of their drivers, are capable of effortlessly reproducing CD-quality music; without any perceptible loss or compression. High-resolution (or Hi-Res) audio is another topic, which we won’t cover here.

Even headphones with a USB-C connector would be a good starting point for achieving acceptable sound reproduction on a mobile device. That said, here are a few reasons to choose wired headphones over Bluetooth:

As mentioned earlier, in the absence of compression (or loss), the sound quality of wired headphones is generally superior to that of wireless ones , at least until Samsung standardizes ultra-wideband headphones.

They work simply by plugging them in . No need to worry about charging the devices or the case they’re in. You won’t be left stranded if the battery runs out.

There is no latency . This term in consumer audio refers to the time elapsed from when the sound signal is generated by the player until it reaches the Bluetooth receiver. It is measured in milliseconds, and with wired headphones, as established, this is not a problem.

Good quality wired headphones are often cheaper than their wireless counterparts , this is due to their simpler technology, which reduces the need to include additional components in their design.

Wired headphones don’t suffer from battery degradation or complex circuits. Depending on the model, the cables may even be detachable and replaceable.

However, it would be inaccurate not to include the disadvantages associated with wired headphones . Despite their advantages, it is also important to evaluate them:

Mobility is limited . Furthermore, the cable can get tangled (it gets caught in a backpack or bag, I speak from experience), which can be annoying during workouts. Audiophiles and gym enthusiasts generally don’t mix well; again, I speak from experience.

Many devices no longer have a Jack connector , especially in the mid-to-high and high ranges.

Cables deteriorate over time , and although some models allow them to be disassembled and new ones attached to the transducers (most in-ear monitors, some studio over-ear models and some high-definition headphones), this is unfortunately not common.

One last point before moving on to the next: according to a study conducted by the accessories company Muvit in 2024, musicians and audio professionals prefer wired solutions over wireless ones, precisely for all the advantages mentioned previously.

In a controlled environment, such as a studio, they represent the ideal solution for a pure, interference-free signal for my ears, or those of the musicians working with me at that time. On the other hand, on stage, in-ear monitors connected to a transmitter are an excellent option for having a consistent reference of the highest possible quality.

Why choose Bluetooth headphones for listening to music?

The reasons for choosing a wireless solution are obvious: there’s no need to rely on a connected cable . That’s the most compelling argument. These days, we live in the age of hands-free devices, even for listening to music. We like to have our devices in our bags or pockets, with the headphones in our ears, without having to search for complicated solutions to adjust the cable length.

I’m the first to admit this convenience ; I don’t hide it. I appreciate Bluetooth headphones for their practicality, which in some ways surpasses traditional wired headphones. However, in other areas, it’s the seemingly outdated wired headphones that have the advantage. Let’s first look at the advantages of Bluetooth headphones:

Ultra-mobility and ultra-portability . Wireless earbuds and their charging case slip anywhere. Foldable headphones easily fit in a backpack or bag.

They can connect to multiple devices simultaneously , allowing you to easily switch from your smartphone to your tablet, or from your tablet to a Smart TV.

A more ergonomic design than wired headphones. Some models, like the Sony LinkBuds Fit, fit perfectly in the ear canal, making them ideal for exercise and other activities.

Active noise cancellation makes them ideal for use in urban environments, without ambient noise interfering with our listening, making them perfect for public transport or any other crowded place.

The advantages are very obvious and fantastic, but they also have significant drawbacks :

Bluetooth headphones cannot reproduce lossless audio . Sound transmission via Bluetooth relies on compression algorithms known as codecs. These codecs do not allow for bit-perfect reproduction. Even aptX Lossless, one of the many codecs from Snapdragon Sound, does not allow for lossless audio reproduction (although it approaches CD quality). LDAC, Sony’s proprietary codec, offers two high bit rates, but does not approach CD quality . For codecs like SBC or AAC, they are even further from it.

Some models can be particularly prone to connection stability issues . The cheapest models often have problems in this area. Instability also increases when using a codec capable of transmitting at high bit rates, such as the aforementioned aptX Lossless.

Latency is very noticeable . It’s also worth noting that it increases as the quality at which a codec is capable of transmitting and receiving increases. SBC and AAC offer lower latency due to the information they omit, but when using aptX Lossless or LDAC, the difference is very significant.

It’s also worth mentioning that Bluetooth headphones raise health concerns . Some ear medicine experts, such as Audiomed, note in a study that wireless headphones can cause headaches and difficulty falling asleep. Other long-term damage has been observed in rodent experiments, particularly to the blood-brain barrier, the brain’s “mobile gatekeeper . “

One might think I’m trying to disparage wireless headphones, but it’s quite the opposite. These are important facts to know ; despite all their positive aspects, there are also some less favorable points.

The final verdict: which one to choose?

The answer to this question, as is often the case, depends . It depends entirely on your needs and the usage scenarios you’ll be using them in. For example, if you’re at home and have a high-end streamer or digital audio player at hand, the best option would undoubtedly be circumaural headphones with a balanced 4.4-millimeter connector.

If you plan to listen to music on public transport or in the street and prioritize sound quality, then choose wired headphones with a jack connector whenever possible. There are several ways to achieve this, but that will be covered in another article. If your device doesn’t have a jack connector, good-quality USB-C headphones are an acceptable alternative.

On the other hand, if you prioritize portability over quality, then go ahead and choose Bluetooth headphones . Until Bluetooth LE is fully standardized, or until Samsung finally mandates UWB technology for wireless transmissions (which also presents its own set of challenges), you’ll have to settle for an experience that doesn’t fully reflect the quality at which you listen to music.

In other words, if a manufacturer claims that a Bluetooth headphone model has Hi-Res Audio certification, they’re not telling the whole truth. This certification is awarded based on the hardware’s capabilities , without considering Bluetooth transmission. If a device supports aptX HD, it’s technically capable of obtaining this certification, but it’s a kind of legal workaround : the sound is compressed to fit the bandwidth, then decompressed before reaching the drivers. That said, some lossy audio remains.

However, the decision is yours . Personally, I recently switched to in-ear monitors with planar drivers and a 3.5mm jack connector, and I’m very happy with the results. That said, I might consider going back to using my JBL Tour Pro 3s as my everyday headphones in the near future.

In the digital age, the protection of personal data has become a crucial concern for governments, businesses, and citizens. The soaring use of digital technologies and social networks has multiplied opportunities to collect and process sensitive information, accompanied by increased risks of privacy breaches. In response to these new concerns, strict regulations have been implemented worldwide, aiming to ensure greater control individuals have over their data. Among these, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , applied in the European Union since May 2018, marks a significant step forward in this area. This legislation imposes clear and specific rules on entities processing personal data, requiring transparency, informed consent, and enhanced security measures. Globally, other countries are drawing inspiration from the GDPR to establish their own regulatory frameworks, aiming to protect citizens while adapting to the realities of the digital marketplace.

What is the GDPR and why is it essential?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) , applicable since May 25, 2018, is a European Union regulation designed to strengthen the protection of individuals’ personal data. This initiative arose after several high-profile incidents, such as the Yahoo hack in 2014 and the Uber hack in 2016. These breaches highlighted the urgent need for robust legislation. The Facebook-Cambridge Analytica scandal further underscored this need, with the identities of millions of people compromised and used to influence electoral decisions, including Brexit.

Before the GDPR, European directives predated the era of social media and modern digital practices. The GDPR updates these standards, giving individuals greater visibility and control over their information. Any organization, whether based in Europe or elsewhere, is required to comply if it processes the data of European residents. This regulation aims not only to standardize rules within the EU but also to require entities handling data to guarantee complete transparency regarding its use.

The organizations involved and their global reach

The GDPR is not geographically limited. Indeed, any company, whether a micro-enterprise, a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), or a multinational corporation, and regardless of its geographical location, must comply with the GDPR if it handles the data of EU citizens. Whether the organization is an NGO, a local authority, a government ministry, or a CAC 40 company, adherence to the principles of the GDPR is imperative. Furthermore, the company’s sector of activity does not exempt it from its obligations, whether it be commerce, healthcare, education, or technology.

This broad scope underscores the global dimension of data regulation. By taking this action, the EU ensures that all entities with which its residents interact adhere to the high standards it sets for data protection. This commitment transcends borders, stipulating that even if a company is based in the United States, Japan, or elsewhere, it must comply if it targets European consumers.

The essential definitions of data processing

To understand the GDPR, it is crucial to define what personal data and data processing are . The regulation describes personal data as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person: whether directly by a name, a number, or more subtly by cross-referencing data that would allow identification.

As for processing, it includes all operations performed on data, whether automated or not. This covers the collection, recording, structuring, storage, communication, and even destruction of this data. Thus, every time a company asks for your loyalty card or invites you to fill out a form, it is processing personal data .

The key principles of the GDPR

To comply with the GDPR, companies must adhere to several principles, including data minimization . An organization should only collect data that is strictly necessary for its legitimate and predefined purpose. It is essential to ask why data is necessary before collecting it. A pizzeria doesn’t need a social security number to deliver a pizza; a name and address are sufficient.

Another crucial aspect is the consent of the individuals concerned . If the data processing cannot be based on a legal basis, such as a contract or a legal obligation, then it is mandatory to obtain the free and informed consent of the individuals concerned. The golden rule is to always obtain this consent clearly and comprehensibly, with complete transparency regarding the purpose of the processing.

Penalties for non-compliance with the GDPR

In the event of non-compliance, the consequences for companies can be severe. Authorities, such as the CNIL in France, have the power to impose administrative penalties of up to €20 million or 4% of global annual turnover, whichever is higher. In addition, criminal penalties and damages awarded to victims may be imposed in the event of legal proceedings.

Implementing a rigorous data protection policy is therefore a priority for any company wishing to thrive and strengthen its relationship of trust with its users. The importance of such a system is underscored by the fact that 91% of French organizations were targeted by cyberattacks in 2020, according to a Proofpoint study. This statistic serves as a clear reminder of the need for vigilance and proactivity regarding personal data security.

Table illustrating the rights of individuals under the GDPR

Right

Description

Access

Allows an individual to see the information held about them.

Correction

Allows you to correct incorrect or incomplete information.

Erasure

Known as the right to be forgotten, it allows you to request the deletion of your data under certain conditions.

Opposition

The right to object to the processing of one’s personal data in certain situations.

Does it appear that you are processing personal data? If so, make sure you fully respect these rights to avoid potentially severe penalties!

Conclusion on Data Protection Regulations

Data protection has become central to our digital society, where personal information circulates at unprecedented speeds. Regulations such as the GDPR in Europe illustrate the considerable effort made to strengthen the privacy and security of personal data. Adopted in response to high-profile scandals like those involving Yahoo, Uber, and Facebook-Cambridge Analytica, this regulation aims to give citizens back control over their personal information.

The GDPR is not alone; other countries, such as Canada with its Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) or the United States with state-specific laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), are also participating in this global movement toward better regulation of the use of personal data. These laws, while varying somewhat in their approaches, share a common goal of holding companies accountable for how they handle their users’ data.

In a globalized world, the harmonization of data protection laws is becoming increasingly crucial. Beyond protecting consumers, these regulations provide businesses with a clear roadmap, enabling them to navigate a standardized legal framework while avoiding hefty fines and a loss of public trust. Given the relentless pace of technological advancements and the ever-increasing capacity for data storage and processing, it is imperative that these laws evolve dynamically to meet future challenges.

In conclusion, data protection regulations are a fundamental pillar of our digital economy. Their implementation and enforcement ensure a necessary balance between technological innovation and the protection of individual rights, thus guaranteeing a safer and fairer digital society.

Artificial intelligence in everyday life

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an integral part of our daily lives. Voice assistants, smart home devices, and recommendation algorithms are just the beginning. In the next decade, AI will be able to predict human needs and deliver highly personalized experiences . Imagine systems that optimize energy consumption or efficiently manage your schedule.

🧠 Next-generation AI models

Large language models (LLMs) have already impressed with their ability to generate text that closely resembles human speech.

When you register a domain name, your personal information—such as your name, email address, phone number, and home or business address—is automatically stored in the WHOIS database, which is publicly accessible. Anyone can look up this information, including spammers, marketers, hackers, and identity thieves.

This is where Domain Privacy Protection becomes essential. It hides your personal details from the public, replacing them with the information of your domain registrar. This keeps your identity safeguarded while still meeting domain registration requirements.

Let’s explore why domain privacy protection is crucial and how you can secure your website with it.

1. What Is Domain Privacy Protection?

Domain Privacy Protection (also known as WHOIS Privacy) is a security feature provided by domain registrars.
It conceals your private contact information and replaces it with proxy details to shield your identity.

Without Privacy Protection, your data is visible:

Full name

Phone number

Email address

Physical address

With privacy enabled, these details stay hidden, keeping you safe from unwanted attention and cyber threats.

2. Why You Need Domain Privacy Protection

✔ Protects Your Personal Information

Cybercriminals often scan WHOIS records to gather sensitive data. Privacy protection ensures your identity stays concealed from attackers.

✔ Prevents Spam and Unwanted Marketing

Public domain details attract tons of spam emails, calls, and marketing messages. Privacy protection helps keep your inbox clean.

✔ Safeguards Against Identity Theft

Hackers can use exposed data to impersonate you or attempt social engineering attacks. With privacy enabled, this risk is greatly reduced.

✔ Helps Avoid Domain-Related Scams

Scammers often send fake renewal notices or phishing emails using WHOIS data. Privacy protection makes these scams less likely.

✔ Maintains Professionalism

If you’re using your home address for your business, privacy protection keeps your personal life separate from your online activities.

3. How Domain Privacy Protection Works

When privacy is enabled:

Your registrar’s information replaces yours in WHOIS listings.

Your real email is shielded behind a proxy or forwarding service.

Your phone number and physical address remain confidential.

This keeps your domain legally registered but hides your personal data from public view.

4. Does Domain Privacy Affect Website Functionality?

Not at all.
Domain Privacy Protection does not impact your:

Email services

It simply adds a layer of safety around your contact details.

5. How to Enable Domain Privacy Protection

Most domain registrars allow you to add privacy protection during checkout or from your control panel.

Here’s what you should do:

Go to your domain management dashboard.

Look for “Privacy Protection” or “WHOIS Privacy”.

Enable it (some registrars offer it free; others charge).

Save changes and wait for WHOIS records to update.

It usually activates within a few minutes.

Final Tip: Use a Reliable Domain and Hosting Provider

To keep your website secure, you need more than just domain privacy. You also need a trustworthy, security-focused hosting provider.

That’s why many business owners choose Ultahost.

Why Ultahost Is a Great Choice:

Choosing the perfect domain name is one of the most important first steps when building an online presence. Your domain is more than just a web address — it represents your identity, builds trust, and helps customers find you easily. A strong domain name can boost branding, improve credibility, and even support your SEO performance.

To help you get started, here are key tips to choose the best domain name for your business.

1. Keep It Short and Easy to Remember

Short domain names are easier to type, pronounce, and share. Ideally, keep it under 15 characters.
Examples: “flipkart.com,” “shopify.com,” “uber.com.”

A simple domain increases the chances that customers will remember and revisit your website.

2. Make It Easy to Spell and Pronounce

Avoid complex spellings, symbols, or unusual words that can confuse visitors.
If customers have to think twice about spelling your domain, they may end up on someone else’s website.

Bad Example: mybizness-onlinexx123.com
Good Example: mybusinessonline.com

3. Use Keywords if Possible

Including relevant keywords can help search engines understand what your business is about.

Examples:

If you sell electronics: techstore.com

If you run a bakery: sweetbakery.com

But avoid stuffing keywords; keep the name natural and brandable.

4. Choose the Right Domain Extension

The most popular and trusted extension is .com, but there are many others such as:

.net

.org

.store

.shop

.online

.co

If the .com version is taken, consider alternatives, but make sure they still match your brand.

5. Avoid Numbers and Hyphens

Numbers and hyphens often create confusion when spoken aloud.

Example:
If your domain is best-shoes4u.com, people may hear it as:

best shoes for you

best shoes 4 you

best shoes4u
This leads to traffic loss and branding issues.

6. Make It Brandable and Unique

A strong brand name helps you stand out in a crowded market. Choose a domain that sounds professional and reflects your brand personality.

Brandable names are:

Unique

Easy to pronounce

Not too generic

Memorable

Examples: Shopify, Amazon, Spotify — they don’t use exact keywords but are extremely brandable.

7. Check for Trademarks and Social Media Availability

Before buying a domain, check if the name is copyrighted or trademarked.
Also ensure the name is available on major social media platforms. This helps maintain consistency across all online channels.

A bug bounty program or “Bug Bounty” for its acronym in English, is an agreement offered by web platforms, organizations and software developers through which researchers can receive recognition and financial compensation for reporting security bugs, especially those related to exploits and vulnerabilities .

These vulnerability management programs allow developers to discover and resolve bugs before they become known to the general public, preventing incidents of widespread abuse.

They operate under the premise of a vulnerability non-disclosure agreement (disclosure guidelines), that is, the content of the report will be made available to the security team and will not be public so that they have enough time until they can publish a correction.

Once the report is closed, the investigator or security team can request public disclosure .

Bug bounty programs have been implemented over the years by a large number of organizations, including companies like Facebook, Mozilla, Microsoft, Google, Twitter, Intel, Apple, Tesla, Paypal, Uber , etc.

Companies outside the tech industry, including traditionally conservative organizations like the United States Department of Defense (DoD) , have begun using bug bounty programs.

The use of the Pentagon bug bounty program known as “Hack the Pentagon”it follows a shift in posture that has led several US government agencies to invite hackers to participate as part of a comprehensive vulnerability disclosure framework or policy.

The DoD programs “Hack the Army”, “Hack the Air Force”, “Hack the Defense Travel System” and “Hack the Marine Corps” are well known .

Other public bodies such as the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also taken advantage of the first service of vulnerabilities and economic rewards in Northern Europe (Nordic countries) coordinated by the Finnish company Hackrfi .

Developing secure software is difficult, even for experienced programmers who understand security concepts. Because building vulnerability-proof systems is such a challenge, more and more companies are choosing to implement bug bounty programs.

Interest in bug bounty programs continues to grow, and for good reason, they offer a great way to align the interests of companies that need to improve security with the people best able to deliver that security:

– hackers test their skills for profit and companies minimize their costs because payment for the service is only required for those who find vulnerabilities within the scope of the program.

Bug bounty programs vary in scope and amount based on potential vulnerabilities.
According to statistics, around 2 billion lines of code are released each week with over 110 billion lines of software code created in the year 2017 alone.

Bug crowd , a company specializing in crowdsourced security , reported that their program of bug bounty totaled more than $6 million in 2017 and that 77% of all bug bounty programs had their first vulnerability detected and reported within 24 hours of announcing the program.

On the other hand, the platformHackerOne throws, among others, the following data corresponding to the past year 2021 :

Bug Bounty programs are growing across all industries, increasing 34% in 2021 .

hackers reported 66,547 valid bugs in 2021 – a 21% increase from 2020.

the median price of a critical bug increased from $2,500 in 2020 to $3,000 in 2021 .

In the past year, the industry-wide average vulnerability resolution time has dropped by 19% : from 33 to 26.7 days.

Today, leading CISOs and security teams are leveraging the skills and experience of a professional and engaged community of hackers as a core strategy of their security testing: knowing which vulnerabilities are being prioritized, how they are being fixed, and what value is being placed on them. attributes, you can help them create or improve their own security testing program.

The CV is one of your most important documents when it comes to the success of your application. Due to time constraints, HR managers are not [...]

The CV is one of your most important documents when it comes to the success of your application. Due to time constraints, HR managers are not able to devote several minutes to each incoming application, otherwise their working day is already full without having taken on any other task apart from evaluating the CVs.

Only those who can make it clear at first glance in their documents that they meet the most important criteria will be shortlisted and will be lucky enough to have their CV examined more intensively.

Although it’s not necessarily lucky, because you have countless influences on how you are perceived and how you can bring your most important skills to the fore. You can find out what these are and what a CV should look like in 2022 here.

Outdated standards

In order to be able to write a modern resume, you first have to understand which standards are now outdated and no longer common. This includes, for example, naming parents and siblings and their job title . This plays no role in your application and is none of your potential employer’s business. The same applies to your religious affiliation, unless you apply to a church institution.

The order of the entries in the CV has also changed. While it used to be common to list all stages of your school and professional career chronologically, a different standard has now been established. You start with your current or last station , since the most relevant content should catch your eye first and end with the last ( antichronological ).

New options for a CV in 2022

The digital age has changed the application process over the past few years, which also gives you new opportunities for your “curriculum vitae”. If you are represented on business networks such as Xing or LinkedIn, you are welcome to link them to your contact details . To do this, however, they should be well maintained and the data stored should match the entries in the CV .

If it suits your job, you can even link to other social media like your Instagram account. Are you applying to be a media designer and have an Instagram channel on which you publish your private projects? Then this is probably a good indication for your new employer that you also deal with the topic in your free time and that you have a great passion for your job .

You can now also create your application using online tools or apps on your smartphone. For this there is the application app from 360-grad-werbung.de , where you can easily enter your data step by step and send your application folder as a PDF file directly from your mobile phone.

What is particularly important in a modern CV?

Overall, your CV must fulfill two important tasks: First, it must focus on your most important skills and thus make it clear that you are a good fit for the advertised position. It is best to take the job description to hand and make sure that the content of the job advertisement is also placed in a prominent position in your CV, if possible.

Secondly, you should be remembered with your documents and stand out positively from your competitors . Choose modern and consistent designs, like these resume templates . These guarantee you uniform documents for your cover sheet, cover letter and CV and a modern look.

Do I need an application photo in my CV?

An application photo is not mandatory, so you can always send your CV without a photo. However, you should be aware that company bosses and recruiters always hire personalities and usually like to know who they are dealing with.

So how do I write a resume in 2022?

So that you can be sure that your CV is complete, we will briefly take a look at the structure and the individual components.

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION

The personal data in the CV includes your name, date and place of birth as well as optional information about your marital status and your nationality. Add to that your contact details, which should be complete . These include your residential address, your e-mail and your telephone number.

2. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Here you gradually list your professional experiences. For the most relevant stations, you should list your tasks in bullet points in order to give the employer the best possible picture of your experience and skills.

Your entries consist of the following components for a complete resume:

Date (period of employment, stating the month and year)

Name and place of company (complete company name)

your job title

Description of your tasks (possibly also work successes, technologies used, etc.)

3. EDUCATION PATH

According to the scheme above, you will also build up your school career as well as your courses of study or further training (if available). With a certain amount of professional experience, your highest school leaving certificate is usually sufficient, you no longer have to list elementary school attendance in a modern CV.

4. KNOWLEDGE

Information about your language and IT skills is one of the mandatory details in your CV . However, don’t just list your skills stubbornly, but also make sure to convey a picture that is as meaningful as possible and state the respective level of your knowledge (e.g. English: fluent in business or MS Word: very good knowledge).

In your job description, is there any subject-specific knowledge that is worth mentioning, or are software and IT skills important? Then these should not be missing in your CV.

5. OPTIONAL

Certificates: If it is relevant to the position, you should also list the certificates you have passed in your CV so that the recruiter is aware of them without having to work through all your attachments.

Hobbies: Hobbies and interests are optional and usually less relevant as work experience increases. However, if you are applying for an apprenticeship as an IT specialist and one of your hobbies is programming, this should not be missing from your CV.

Commitment: Social commitment is well received by most employers. Unless the impression can arise that you can no longer fully focus on your job because of all the commitment, you should include them in your CV.

References: References usually only become important in managerial positions. You do not need this for applications for jobs that are not in the management area.

Driving license class: For some professions, an existing driving license is a basic requirement or can at least be an advantage. If this is the case in your job, you should clarify this from the start.

6. DATE AND SIGNATURE

The CV should always end with your handwritten signature (above your name in capital letters), place and date. This testifies to the authenticity of your information and gives your CV a certain personal touch. For your digital application folder, you can scan your signature or take a clean photo of it and insert it into your document as an image file.

keywords in the resume

Keyword optimization isn’t just for websites, it’s also for curriculum vitae. The background is that larger companies have their application documents automatically scanned for certain keywords . You should therefore make sure that certain keywords , which can also be found in the job advertisement, appear as naturally as possible in the CV . All of this, mind you, without overdoing it or making it seem unnatural. Keyword stuffing is taboo , but naturally occurring keyword optimization is helpful.

Supplementary information on the CV

As a little bonus tip at the end, we’ll do a little detour to your cover letter again . There you should not only retell your CV, but also provide additional information if possible. This gives you the opportunity to explain your motivation for your career change, to explain gaps in your CV or to further focus on important skills.

The growth of the SaaS industry has begun to create a highly competitive environment. It is increasingly difficult to differentiate yourself from competitors, attract and win customers, and make them satisfied enough to keep the services purchased indefinitely. Those companies that sell software as a service do not have it easy, especially those that have not made a serious commitment to digital marketing and still think that cold-door sales strategies are better for them. If you recognize that you have difficulties when it comes to selling your software, read on:

Steps in a SaaS digital marketing strategy that can help you sell your software:

1. Work on a branding that allows you to differentiate yourself.

2. Define well what type of client you have and need.

3. Humanize and nourish the purchase cycle with content.

One of the problems that SaaS companies have that perhaps other technology companies do not have, and even fewer businesses in another sector, is that what they sell is an intangible product . This product is also probably not unique in the world. In other words, the safest thing is that another company has developed a similar technological solution to a problem that your potential client presents, so it can make your marketing even more difficult.

However, each development has a distinctive feature, something that can make it different and ideal for the customer who acquires it. And that is why you buy it. But how do you get to conceptualize what makes it special? How to transmit this in a message through the different online channels? What steps or phases should you take into account to carry out a digital marketing strategy that has the ROI you expect?

If you have a software that has strong points that you can highlight, if you work so that your development does not become obsolete and so that your service is better every day, now is the best time to start a marketing project that can help you market this or these intangible products that you offer, improving the visibility and positioning of your brand on the Internet. To do this, we are going to start talking about the first step you must follow in your strategy:

1. Work on a branding that allows you to differentiate yourself.

As the years go by and your brand consolidates in your sector, there will be several times that you will have had to reformulate your values and mission, as well as several times that you will have to have redefined your services and products. This implies that it will have been necessary to refresh your brand over time. Why is this necessary?

On the one hand, technology brands have an indisputable feature, their developments must be updated over time based on new opportunities in the market. But on the other hand, and closely linked to the above, because as time passes and the sector changes, so do the needs and the purchasing cycle of consumers.

If you think about it, when only a few years ago the outbound or traditional marketing and sales tactics were enough, now they are not. Consumers compare, seek answers to their questions on the Internet. To a greater or lesser extent, these changes will continue to happen, and it is necessary to evolve so as not to remain an obsolete solution that is poorly aligned with the needs of potential buyers.

In other words, both at the service/product level, as well as at the brand and image level, it will be necessary to update over time, taking into account market trends and consumer purchasing cycles. That’s why even now you should rethink getting back to work and refreshing your brand if you haven’t done so recently.

The first online marketing action in your strategy that you should consider is rebranding . But the truth is that this rebranding does not have to imply a radical change in terms of image or ideology, but rather a self-criticism as to how up-to-date the brand is and how it could improve to better align with customer needs and see itself modernized in terms of to image and approach online.

Reconceptualize what you offer , make it even more understandable for the consumers you are targeting. Be clear about the differences and strengths of your software. And not only be clear on a commercial level, but also be able to capture it in a document that serves as an internal guide to align the entire team, but also serves to generate useful content, which leads us to the next point.

Begin to assess how you can communicate this that you have defined through the different online channels . A style guide that consolidates the values of your brand is especially important when generating different communications and content with and for your clients, both commercial and marketing.

And yes, assess whether your current visual identity is in line with the corporate image you want to convey , whether it can be improved, or whether the previous changes were the only ones you needed to make. In this case, and depending on the years of experience, you should also think about what your brand’s reputation is today, if it is necessary to refresh it or do a complete facelift that is aligned with the preferences of your clients, what Which brings us to the next step:

2. Define well what type of client you have and need.

We have spoken on many occasions about the importance of developing customer profiles for a business , regardless of the sector. This is so because without these profiles it is more complicated to think about how to structure a website, choose the appropriate communication channels or the relevant content to create. And in general terms, it is more complex to implement any type of successful online marketing action.

The customer profiles allow us to have a clear focus for who we are creating the content that will feed each of the marketing strategies that allow you to better market your software. These profiles help us not to get sidetracked and focus each of the campaigns based on the brand’s objectives.

And as important as defining these types of buyer profiles that you have today and that you potentially know you could reach, is understanding what their buying cycle is. And it is that knowing how the evolution of a consumer is from when he is a stranger to the business, until he becomes a buyer and user of your software is essential to attract, convert and retain.

And SaaS marketing this purchase cycle is especially important because, generally, it is the consumers who purchase the product and service who are responsible for justifying an expense that can be considerable and a utility for the prosperity of their own business. This means that the purchase cycles tend to lengthen and that there are many pain points or doubts that arise along the way and that can be solved with the following step:

3. Humanize and nourish the purchase cycle with content.

When it comes to helping your customers advance in their purchase cycle, you should think not only about those marketing and sales strategies that are going to be useful for your company.

In other words, having identified a buyer persona and their pain points during the purchase process, you should think about what content may be useful to help you move forward. This will imply the implementation of different marketing and sales strategies to which you will have to commit depending on the economic and human resources that are at your disposal :

3.1. Content marketing: web, blog and social networks.

The website , your main channel, must have the right content and structure . The pages where you provide information about your software and services should include practical and educational information, potentially in different formats (text, image and video), that help understand what the solution consists of. However, in these pages the solution is found and the purchase process begins with a preliminary investigation that allows users to assess how to solve the problem or need they face, for which it is usually necessary to create educational articles to through:

The blog , which can help your potential clients in their initial search , recognition and consideration phase . Think about what are the reasons why they might buy your software. For example, if they search for “how to improve the profitability of their business”, perhaps your software helps indirectly by improving the organization and efficiency of their work, in this case you should make content that makes them see all the ways they can improve, including that that leads them to potentially acquire your solution.

Social networks are the channels par excellence for disseminating and diversifying content. For many tech businesses, networks like Instagram are one of the biggest sources of traffic and conversion. However, for SaaS, other social platforms such as LinkedIn may be more useful , in which to start conversations, share content and investigate the needs of potential clients.

3.2. Positioning marketing: organic and paid acquisition.

Closely linked to content marketing we find those positioning strategies such as SEO and SEM . While SEO, that is, search engine optimization, focuses on improving the visibility of a website to get organic or natural traffic that clicks on the links in search results, SEM or online advertising campaigns is that strategy in which you pay to appear in the first positions after a specific search.

Both are strategies that are relevant in positioning marketing to attract users to the web and based on these, the structure of the pages and the hierarchy that is given to the content are determined. That is why they are linked to a content marketing strategy, with which you must work not only with the purpose of attracting more traffic, but also attracting the right traffic to be able to retain and convert:

3.3. Conversion marketing: communication and database.

The chats , chatbots or forms on different pages and landing pagesare nowadays in the most important conversion tools. The former allow you to start conversations with unknown users and request contact information in order to answer questions and provide more information in a personalized or automated way. The latter generally respond to conversion paths in which something is offered in return: monthly information, a downloadable guide on a relevant topic, a demo, or participation in an informative event (seminar, webinar). These are the first step to obtain data that must then be stored in systems such as the CRM that will allow us to carry out different marketing actions.

The CRM is fundamental when there is a database of contacts with which you have to work, since important information is centralized. In other words, this CRM is the one that allows you to have valuable information to carry out different marketing actions, but it is also the one in which you can include relevant data regarding the products that customers consume and their relationship with the brand. There is a great myriad of properties that a CRM can include regarding the activity of contacts and their interactions and many of them can lead you to make important decisions in your strategy and to elaborate precise segmentations that guarantee the best conversion of your promotional campaigns.

Email marketing campaigns are key to promoting products and services and to feed those contacts who need to advance in their purchase process with content. However, each of these campaigns must be well executed and for this it is essential to carry out the appropriate segmentation and be clear about the objectives of each of the emails that are sent. It is neither effective to send all emails to all contacts, nor to expect them to perform more than one action with emails. That is why, when sending some emails, automations can help:

Automation marketing is one of the strategies that can obtain the most profitability from the actions carried out in marketing and sales. Automations or workflows go beyond the sending of a weekly or monthly newsletter, since they are triggered after certain actions or based on certain specific events, and allow relevant information to be sent at precise moments, that is, when the contacts really show a interest or need. That is why automation can elevate any action you take by improving conversion and customer acquisition, who will have to continue to delight through loyalty strategies to keep them.

3.4. Loyalty marketing: customer retention.

The LTV (life-time-value) of customers in the technology sector is one of the most important indicators to take into account when determining the success of marketing and sales. Generally, getting clients can have a considerable cost in terms of investment in time and resources and that is why you must continue to work strategically to keep these clients for a long time.

Those values that we have mentioned at the beginning and that useful information that helps potential customers to advance in the purchase cycle, must be part of customer care and service so that they are not abandoned once they have made their own purchase. investment in your product.

The content made for your blog, the one you share in your emails and the channels you use to communicate are essential when establishing a base that helps you develop a loyalty strategy. In short, all this generated content is what allows you to humanize marketing and sales processes and positions you as a brand that is there to provide the best technological solution to its customers.

Key steps to develop an online marketing plan if your company sells technology

1. Internal analysis.

2. Study of the present.

3. Definition of objectives.

4. Choice of key strategies.

5. Alignment of all departments.

1. Internal analysis.

The internal analysis of a company is the first phase of a marketing plan. To do an introspection of your own business, you should ask yourself why your technology was born, what makes it unique and what audience can it reach with the resources you have, following these two key steps:

1.1. Know the WHY of your business.

Does Simon Sinek’s “golden circle” ring a bell? With this concept, the English popularizer states that most businesses are clear on WHAT they do and HOW they work to perfect their processes and methodology. However, there are few companies that have the same certainty about WHY they do it, or what their mission is , which, in short, is one of the most powerful questions in marketing.

And if you think about it, all technology companies aim to sell their technology. It is even possible to compete with the same product or service. So how can you differentiate yourself? With that WHY that allows you to configure your own corporate identity, that is, that helps you to generate a unique company profile.

Keep in mind that consumer trends have changed drastically, especially at this time in which we live and that, for this reason, today’s buyers need something more than quality products: they need to see themselves reflected in the company’s identity, in their values . That is why, to attract buyers to your business, you must answer the following questions:

What is the reason that led you to create your technology? What is the mission you want to fulfill by providing technological solutions to your clients?

Why do you think your service or product can better satisfy your customer? What do you offer that other technology companies do not have?

What are the differentiating values of your company? What makes you special? Which brings us to:

1.2. Highlight your technological product among the competition.

But have you ever stopped to think about why companies like, for example, Coca Cola, Nike or Camper triumph in the crowd? Yes, Coca Cola has the magic formula , but both it and Nike or Camper are unique. Do you know what the secret is? They transmit passion. Behind each one of them there is a personal story …

Nike does not convey to its customers the quality of its sports shoes, if they are sewn with a special fabric or if the sole, which hides an air chamber, is made of an unbreakable material. What Nike transmits is that if you wear them, you will feel unique. Nike and the big brands, the ones that have really invested astronomical amounts in traditional marketing, transmit passion.

Another example of a leading technology company: Google doodles . This is the most popular graphic element in your browser. As you know, it periodically changes or modifies its logo to commemorate an event. They are so popular that there is even a page where you can find the latest doodles . And techniques like these are part of the companies’ marketing plan? Of course.

Think about how you can offer your customers something special , that moves them and makes them feel unique . In the technology industry sector, competing on price is not a good long-term strategy. Offer something more, something personalized, something that touches the heart. One of the many phrases that Steve Jobs , the founder of Apple , left us goes like this:

Innovation is what distinguishes leading companies from the rest.

In conclusion, to make yourself known, you must first define yourself and then differentiate yourself . In this way, even your employees will understand and be able to correctly convey the identity of your company and the message you want to convey to your target audience .

1.3. Find your target audience.

One of the reasons why we put so much emphasis on defining and differentiating ourselves is because there is no company that can satisfy all types of consumers. Not Google, not Apple. For this reason, it is essential to find that class of consumers who can align with the values of your brand , that is, find those profiles of buyers most likely to appreciate and consume your products or services.

Think that only in this way will you be making your marketing efforts profitable, that is, you will be improving the chances of converting your online visits into contacts and potential buyers since, to begin with, you will be attracting the right users. For this, it is necessary to create buyer profiles that we know as buyer persona and that will differ depending on the technology:

B2B : a technology company whose product or service is intended for another company must take into account the idiosyncrasies of each sector to which it is directed and the particularities and needs of the decision-maker of the purchase (the person who carries out the research on the product or service) and that the beneficiary is the company. Since the person is the one who must justify the expense and the suitability of this investment based on the needs and challenges of the company in which he works, his position within it must be taken into account, but also how much he knows about the technology you acquire and the type of research you have done.

B2C : a technology company that sells to the final consumer must carry out a detailed analysis of their socioeconomic characteristics such as gender, age, place of residence, who they live with, family income, what studies and work they have, what their online consumption habits are and offline, their hobbies, concerns, motivations, challenges… It is also advisable to establish segmentation by other variables, such as, for example, if they have bought or used the same technology repeatedly, or by their behavior in the online environment: how they consume content and if they share information etc.

If your company does not work with CRM tools that greatly facilitate the management of contact data, it may be the right time for you to consider implementing this software to collect, analyze and segment all the information that you will be getting about your buyer persona. .

2. Study of the present.

The second step in this marketing plan will involve carrying out a study that contextualizes your situation in the present time, starting with an assessment of the market in which your company competes, that is, both of the sector in general and of those companies that can be considered competition or potential allies.

2.1. Evaluate the market.

First of all, you need to study the current market situation . What are the latest trends, what’s new, what are the new needs of customers, economic data, turnover, etc. The more information you collect, the better your chances of finding opportunities in the market where there isn’t as much competition .

Of course, this information needs to be up-to-date so you know you’re heading your marketing efforts in the right direction. So he regularly spends time keeping up with what’s new in the local market. And if you are a B2B technology company, also keep in mind all the necessary updates of those sectors to which you sell.

2.2. Analyze the competition.

In a sector as competitive as technology, you must also be aware of what competing companies sell and how they do it . What businesses are direct competition? What methodology do you use to attract customers? What impact do they have on your catchment area?

On the one hand, it is vital to stop to analyze the marketing strategies of other technology companies. Knowing them will help you discover opportunities that they are not taking advantage of, but it will also allow you to differentiate yourself from them .

On the other hand, observing the technology companies in your sector will allow you to see which businesses can be allies since, sometimes, the global solution to a problem presented by your buyers will have more than one perspective . In this case, you could contemplate the possibility of making partnerships and for this you must select those technological companies that share your values and that address your buyer persona with solutions that you do not offer, but that are complementary.

23. Study your situation.

From all this information that you have collected so far, you will be able to carry out the SWOT analysis of your company. In other words, define the weaknesses, threats, strengths and opportunities for your company.

The weaknesses will allow you to detect the internal weaknesses of your company to solve them. While the threats , even if they are due to external factors (some unpredictable), will allow you to be prepared and be able to adapt your strategy.

On the other hand, you can focus your strategies on making the most of your strengths , especially if they are what set you apart. As well as the opportunities that you can include in your next marketing plan objectives .

3. Definition of objectives.

The marketing plan is a tool that allows you to make the most of your resources and maintain a line of work. It is ideal to organize yourself and prepare a roadmap with specific marketing actions. And that is why, in addition to asking yourself how to make a marketing plan, once you have the bases that we have mentioned before, you should ask yourself what you want to achieve with it .

Defining SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Temporary) should be the next step in creating your marketing plan. In this case, it is recommended that you organize your objectives according to priority , that is, short, medium and long term, for which you must dedicate 60%, 30% and 10% of your efforts and resources respectively.

Of course, never forget that marketing objectives must support company objectives, which is why all departments should be aligned . On the other hand, after the estimated time, it will always be necessary to determine if these objectives have been met, that is, to evaluate and measure the marketing actions carried out, optimizing them, changing them or maintaining them based on their success.

4. Choice of online strategies.

Another of the important sections of the digital marketing plan of a technology company is to choose the appropriate strategies according to the objectives you want to meet based on all the contextualized information you have collected . This means that each company will have an online strategy that best suits its current situation and priority objectives.

4.1. Positioning strategy.

If what you need is to consolidate yourself in the market and attract your potential clients, you should think about implementing a search engine positioning strategy. SEO, SEM and content generation are the marketing techniques that can help you achieve your goals. Of course, remember that you do not want to attract any consumer, so always keep in mind who your buyer persona is.

4.2. brand strategy

You need to improve the positioning of your brand in the market, or present your new project in the technology sector. This strategy is suitable for those companies that need to define themselves and differentiate themselves. In this case, online advertising, the generation of content on social networks and the collaboration with industry experts and/or influential people for your buyer persona can help you achieve your goals.

4.3. Conversion strategies.

As we have already mentioned before, segmentation allows you to better focus your marketing efforts, and therefore greater conversion probabilities. The segmentation and generation of content for each stage of the purchase cycle of your customers together with the appropriate conversion techniques (chatbots, chats, content offers through CTAs, subscriptions, webinars, demos, free-trials, etc.) They will be useful for targeting a specific market niche in your current situation.

4.5. Loyalty strategy.

If your goal is to improve your customer retention and loyalty, this strategy will improve your relationship with your regular customers. In addition, a satisfied customer can become an excellent promoter of your brand. In this case, you will need to have your CRM in order, generate relevant content for your customers and use appropriate email marketing techniques such as lead nurturing.

5. Alignment of all departments.

Both during the preparation of the plan and after its completion, you must share your marketing plan with all the professionals that are part of the company, with all the departments . Team alignment is critical to the success of marketing strategies. And it is that marketing does not depend only on the department that carries it out.

Getting all your employees involved in achieving the objectives is essential. Make all employees feel committed and share with them the vision of where you want the company to go. In fact, your employees should also be part of the analysis of the marketing plan : check that all marketing actions are going the right way, or even complement the plan with new opportunities that your teams detect.

Now you know the essential steps to create a marketing plan document adapted to your technology. It is a useful tool that adapts to any business opportunity and that will surely help you save time and effort and continue achieving positive results.

Many people know the term SEO (Search Engine Optimization) as the positioning of web pages in search engines. But what is the OSA? .
Currently, in Spain alone, more than 90% of people have some type of mobile connection , and of this percentage around 80% have a smartphone .

It is for this reason that the term ASO begins to emerge, which is nothing more and nothing less than the positioning of apps in application stores .

What is the OSA?

ASO or App Store Optimization , is the set of techniques used to make your application more visible in the app stores . In other words, while SEO is responsible for obtaining a better position in search engines, ASO positions an application in its virtual stores.

There are several factors that must be taken into account to create a good ASO strategy and today I am going to talk about one specifically: the application file , where the different characteristics of your app are gathered, such as the name, description, screenshots, among others.

Why is the tab so important to improve the positioning of your app?

How many times before downloading an application have you looked at the icon, the description or the screenshots? Always, right? And how many times have you decided not to download an application because you did not understand what its functionalities were or because the icon did not give you confidence?

It is for this reason that the file is a key aspect for users to decide whether to download your application or not, since, through it, they will be able to know what are the main functionalities that your app can provide them.

Factors to take into account in your application file

Google Play and App Store are the two most popular app stores with the largest number of users. Although the optimization of both stores is similar, there are some factors that differentiate them and that you must take into account when creating your application file.

1- Important features in Google Play

Google Play is the store or digital distribution platform for mobile applications developed by Google for devices with the Android operating system.

Next, I show you the most important factors to take into account to create your application listing on Google Play:

Application name : one of the most important aspects for the positioning of your app is knowing how to choose the appropriate name or title. In Google Play only 50 characters are allowed. For this reason, it is advisable to choose a short and concise title that perfectly describes the main function of your application and, if possible, that includes the most important keyword. For example: AliExpress- Buy easily, live better or MiTele- TV a la carte . As you can see, they are clear names that help the user to know the main functionality of the application.

Icon : Although this does not have a direct influence on ASO positioning, it does help draw the user’s attention. For this reason, a well-designed icon in accordance with the values of your application greatly influences the increase in downloads.

Description : the maximum number of characters allowed in the Google Play description is 4000. It is recommended that it be long and include a minimum of 350 words, repeating the keyword different times throughout the text. Explain the main functionalities of your application in more detail and if the app has obtained an award or citation in any medium, try to name it in the description.

Featured image : it consists of a landscape image that is added to the file as if it were a cover. Make sure that it summarizes the main functionality of your application.

Screenshots : the screenshots of an app are very important to obtain a greater number of downloads since they can show the main functionalities and the appearance of the app, in a visual way. Google Play allows you to add up to 8 screenshots or screenshots.

Promotional video : apart from the screenshots, Google Play allows you to add a promotional video between them. Try to summarize briefly, preferably less than 1 minute, the functionalities of your application, in a creative way that catches the attention of your target audience.

Type of the app : in Google Play there are only two options: applications and games. Choose the one that best suits the theme of your app.

Categories – Only one category is allowed to be added in this app store. For this reason, it is important to choose it properly, so as not to generate confusion in the user.

2- Factors to consider in the App Store

App Store is a service created by Apple, which allows users to search and download computer applications from the iTunes Store or the Mac App Store.

Next, I list the main characteristics of an application listing in the App Store:

App Name – The maximum number of characters allowed in the name on the App Store is 30. This plays a critical role in how users discover you on the App Store. Choose a simple and memorable name that is easy to spell and indicates what your app does. Be distinctive. Avoid names that use generic terms or are too similar to existing app names.

Subtitle – An app’s subtitles appear below the name and can be up to 30 characters long. Its main objective is to summarize the functionality of your application in a clear and concise sentence. Avoid generic subtitles, such as “the best app in the world.” Instead, consider using them to highlight typical features or uses of your app, in language that suits your target audience.

Icon : the icon of your application is one of the first elements that the user sees when opening the page of your app. Therefore, it is essential to make a good first impression that communicates the quality and purpose of your app. Work with a graphic designer to create an icon that is simple and recognizable. Try testing different options to determine which one is more recognizable and meaningful to your target audience. To make sure it’s readable at all sizes, avoid adding unnecessary visual details.

Description – Add an engaging description that highlights the main features and functionality of your app. The ideal description is a concise and informative paragraph followed by a short list of main features. It is recommended to add the main competitive advantages of your app, that is, what makes your application different from the others. Communicate in the tone of your brand and use terminology that your target audience will appreciate and understand. The first sentence of your description is the most important: it summarizes the functionality of your app in such a way that the user does not need to hit the “read more” button. If you decide to mention a prize, I recommend putting it at the end of the description or as part of the promotional text.

Promotional text – Your app’s promotional text appears at the top of the description and is up to 170 characters long. You can update the promotional text at any time without having to submit a new version of your app. Consider using promotional text to share the latest news about your app, such as limited-time sales, upcoming features or content, or other events within your app.

Screenshots : This is one of the factors that the user considers the most when downloading the application, since it is a way to show him what your application will look like in a more visual way. The App Store gives the option to upload up to 5 screenshots.

Promotional video : as well as in Google Play, in the App Store it is also allowed to include a short video among the screenshots to promote and inform users about the most important aspects of your application . Promotional videos can be up to 30 seconds long and include images captured on the device to showcase the experience of using your app. You can feature up to three promotional videos for the app in your listing and include them for all available App Store languages.

What ‘s New – Use the “What’s New” section to communicate changes to your app to users. This text appears on the product page and on the Updates tab. If you’ve added a feature or fixed a bug based on feedback, use What’s New to let users know. List new features, content, or functionality in order of importance, and add calls to action that you think will excite the user.

Categories – Unlike Google Play, you can assign two categories to your app so users can find it while browsing the App Store. The parent category you select is especially important to your app’s discoverability on the App Store. This will be the one that will appear when users browse by category or filter search results. Be sure to select a main category that best describes the main function of your app.

As you may have seen, your product file is very important for your application to be among the best positions in the virtual application stores .
